Our Mission
We promote an ecologically sustainable way of life. We do not produce our goods in bulk or at the cheapest manufacturer, on the contrary, every order is made by hand just for you. Our products are recyclable and made from materials such as cotton and natural wax.
Every part of our product that we buy in and do not produce ourselves is manufactured by a heritage company. The design and final assembly of our products is done manually by masters in their field. At no point will production go beyond European borders.
Waxed Cotton
Disposable raincoats are inexpensive and easy to carry, but become waste after a single use. Used plastic products can be collected and recycled, but it is known that artificial materials are not endlessly recyclable and in the worst cases they can end up in landfills or as microplastics in our oceans. Can you imagine a rainy day at a music festival and the amount of plastic that is left behind?
Cotton production, although with its own problems, is cleaner and more environmentally friendly than production of artificial materials and that’s why we make our raincoats from Waxed Cotton fabric.
Our raincoats are not disposable or designed as fashion items, their timeless spirit allows them to be used indefinitely.
Longer Lifespan
Although we design our raincoats to be maintenance-free, the properties of the materials will change over time. This does not mark the end of the life cycle of our products, it means that you have the opportunity to show care and attention to the raincoat that has served you for a long time – wax fabric can be reproofed, read more about it at our “Repair & Reproofing” section.
This way you can extend the life of your raincoat and leave an even smaller ecological footprint.
